Draw: First round, alphabetical matchups- A plays Z etc,
surnames
Rounds: 4 rounds of 4 hours- 09:00-13:00,
13:30-17:30. A warning will be given approx 30 minutes before time, after which
no Invader may start another bound. If the game is still running at full time,
the defender may finish his bound.
Theme: Non-European armies 1494-1700AD
To
qualify, the army must not have campaigned or been raised to campaign in
Europe.
For the purposes of this theme, Europe goes
Westward to Ireland, North to Norway,
East to Moscow, South to the Peloponnese. It
therefore includes Ottoman armies campaigning in Europe, but not those who did
not cross over from Asia. European armies raised or only used abroad, e.g.
Portugese Colonial, New Model in the West Indies, are permitted.

Scoring: 10-0, as per the Book, plus 100 for the only army in the game to break its opponent.

Rule
changes:
- deployment in alternate
commands, starting with the largest in elements and then in any order and
including Naval;
- in any list with Sh(I)
described as arquebus or caliver, ALL may be exchanged for Arq(O) @ 5AP.
Shoot 100p, combat outcomes as Sh(O);
- Janissary Sh(F) may ALL be
exchanged for Arq(S) @ 7AP Shoot 100p, combat outcomes as Sh(S);
- Sh(F) fight in the same
number of ranks as other Shot.
Entry fee $30, which includes lunch and snackage for both days and
medals.
